Once you’ve arrived at East Midlands Airport and collected your luggage jump on the free shuttle bus that takes you to our depot which is 5 minutes away. Head north east towards the historic city of Nottingham just half an hour from the airport in the campervan hire from East Midlands Airport. After a relaxing sleep in your campervan its time to head a few miles north to Sherwood forest the legendary home of the famous outlaw Robin Hood who according to legend stole from the rich and gave to the poor during the reign of King John. This area used to be over 10000 acres but over time has diminished and there are only a few hundred acres of it remaining. The country park offers a wide range of walks and cycle routes. At the visitor centre there are restaurants or plenty of places to eat your picnic.

First there is Lincoln cathedral once the tallest building in the world which offers tours of the towers and the roof tops. Lincoln Castle which was built by William the Conqueror in 1068 is home to one of the remaining 4 original copies of the famous Magna Carta. The castle offers full tours of its grounds and you can see the Magna Carta itself.
There are also lots of museums in the city as well with many of them free to visit.
A half hour journey in your campervan it brings you in to the seaside town of Skegness. Skegness is home to the first ever Butlins Holiday Resort and it is still going strong to this date. Relax on our European award winning beach stretching out towards the sea. Everything you could want is here, clean sand, sea to paddle in, great attractions and many other facilities along the promenade and seafront.
There is so much to do, it’s difficult to know where to start. Nature land seal sanctuary and animal centre, Church Farm museum, Skegness Pier, crazy golf, ten-pin bowling, laser quest, fun fairs, and shopping, not to mention the beautifully landscaped foreshore. Skegness has something for everyone of all ages. The nightlife is great too. Whether you enjoy a show at the theatre, eating out or clubbing. Skegness is definitely the place to holiday in the United Kingdom.
After a fun filled day in Skegness and after a relaxing nights sleep in your campervan Hire head west now to Grantham. The town is best known as the birthplace of former prime minister Margaret Thatcher, and the place where Isaac Newton went to school, at The King’s School. It is close to an ancient Roman road, and was the scene of Oliver Cromwell’s first advantage over Royalists during the English Civil War at Gonerby Moor. Grantham is also notable for having the first female police officers in the United Kingdom, notably Edith Smith in 1914, and producing the first running diesel engine in 1892, and the UK’s first tractor in 1896. After a relaxing walk around this quaint town its time to head back to the campervan for your final nights sleep.
